Thanks guys. I'll take some pics when I get the roof rack, bumper and vent things on in the spring.

Since this is my daily driver, it's a bit trashed at the moment. First pic at noon today, second at 3pm.

nice! Most of the time I don't like front end conversions because it rarely matches the rest of the truck but you've done a great job making sure everything flows....

If you haven't done the rear lights yet (haven't read to the end of the thread yet) and knowing the esky lights won't work you may at least just get some LEDs off eBay. That'd look slick back there. Nice job on the conversion man! :waytogo:

I'm having a heck of a time finding LED lights that are for the "barn door" style trucks. The other ones won't work since the door hinge is in a pocket area in the bottom of the light.
If you guys see decent looking lights for barn door trucks, let me know. (Cash is a bit short at the moment though...)

it is going to be impossible to find barn door style escalade lights... pretty sure they did not make a barn door lade.

I've actually thought about it. The limo that I got some of the parts from has the complete back end in tact. It's for sale. I have no idea what he wants for it or it would take to do it, and assume it's a big project. At this point I think I've gone overboard already with this thing. It all started with thinking it'd be cool to put an Escalade clip on my truck after an accident. If it's an easy bolt on though, I'd consider it. Although,...my wife would probably kill me. (and I do like the swing out doors.)

Just realized there was a page 8 to this thing. I'll read thru that last post later today Mike. Looks like some good info.

Ty, you're right. No Escalades with barn doors 02-06. The doors hit the body moldings. We didn't realize it until mine was almost done and the doors wouldn't open. My body and paint guy Al almost had a cow. Major bummer, but I'm pretty happy with how he minimized the negative effect.
-----------------

Mike, just read through that post. Yeah I dig "Post 51". Especially the top ones. I still don't know where he got 'em though. I sent Big Tap a pm (here).

Just got my parts back from paint. They came out great. It'll be a couple weeks before I can change the bumper. Too much to do at work. Thought I'd share a photo with ya'll though.

Awesome conversion! I just have one question- does that escalade rear bumper cover just bolt on to your stock one?
