So much money I paid out and the back up camera at night hardly sees anything in dark why Chevy so cheap on backup camera i feel like it a Chinese 99 cent camera from the dollar store even the color look off . I have to invest in rear fog light so when I back up i can see better it not the investment it the labor and time to figure out to make it look not showing don’t wanna make it look weird having fog light point in reverse. I like the clean modern sharp look any ideas.

That is exactly the way my Tahoe is. I have zero issues with my back up camera at night.

Yes, I do have a suggestion. i was faced with the same irritation and based on some advice within this forum went looking for some serious backup LED replacement bulbs. The ones I put in were: https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...smd-led-tower-miniature-wedge-base/1701/4011/

Problem solved!!! I'd purchase them again in a heartbeat.

FYI this was on a 2017 Yukon XL SLT.

My 19' got WAY better when I put really bright backup bulbs in, needed them for the tinted windows

Yeah for the money the camera sucks and it should have surround view as well. IMHO

That’s what I hate it grainy at night in dark and you get yourself in Hyundai and the camera is like hd and bright when you back up

Yep. Drives me crazy. Spend all this money and the camera in my Kia is way better. Definitely put led backup lights in. I did and it helps with the grainy picture

Back up camera is fine and my ULTRA bright back up lights do the job 2008

Ask your dealer Jorge if this is normal for yours, should still be under warranty.

2016 suburban here and the rear camera is total junk. It is inexcusable and they or someone should offer a better drop in replacement in this day and age. How many backup bulbs are required? I may go that route.
