Anyone know where it is? Manual says it's behind the instrument panel.. About center of passenger side.
I'm hoping if I unplug it, the 'band' button won't cycle to XM stations which I don't subscribe to. (That worked on my GMT900 anyway)

Although I am considering an aftermarket radio, so I can have a screen for a backup camera and hopefully kill the audio chimes..

NVM, I found it. It's right behind the glovebox if you flip it down all the way, on the right side.
Not quite where the factory diagram depicted.. Closer to #23 than #12..

Unplugging it will prevent the XM screen from loading, but when you switch to AM, it will have an 'XM error' message that mostly covers the AM presets.
(But not completely, you can still tap the presets) When you tap the message, then the message disappears.
If you cycle back to FM, the 'XM error' message will disappear on it's own.

UPDATE: Went for a drive, and the nav unit NO LONGER displays "XM error"!
I did not unplug the battery, so I guess after a key cycle, or displaying X number of times, it stops.
