XM Question

So my used hoe has a factory nav radio and the XM module under the glove box. someone installed a nucleus ipod adapter which looks like it just intercepts the connector to the XM module. question is.. the wiring from the XM has only two wires, ? is that all I should have? When I unplug the nucleus the radio does not allow me to goto XM mode and with the module it will goto XM mode but not go to the preview channel for the radio ID code...

Hey outlaw maybe you can find the name of the module that is used to spice in the box and go from there. I am looking to see if you have a picture of the wiring. I have xm but do not know how to hook it up in the car.
