Finished my coolant system rebuild today. Today I put in a new water pump, coolant temp sensor, coolant gauge sender, upper and lower radiator hose. Last week I put in a new radiator.

I also got rid of that stupid heater hose quick connect. I used a 1/2" to 3/4" brass hose barb with a short piece of 5/8" heater hose.

The truck used to get to 215+ almost all the time I never saw the gauge under 210 now it barely gets over 180:boti:

It was a long day it wasn't easy! I couldn't get the fan clutch off because it would spin the water pump shaft:wtf: So I had to unbolt the waterpump with the clucth fan on it. I took the back off the old water pump and put a socket inbetween the impellers then knocked the fan clutch loose.

And to end the day the engine bay swallowed one of my 10mm wrenches. It's in the front end frame under the headlight sowewhere under that box that you can store oil in. I looked everywhere with a flash light and can't find it. The truck was hungry I guess:licklips:

Sounds like you got a lot of work done :headbang:

Yeah man I replaced my rear bumper last weekend too and THAT took most of the day. The old one had a dent in it. Got a nice one from the salvage yard.

After taking the old bumper off it revealed a lot of rust on things so I hit it with PlastiDip under coating that stuff is awesome.

Next project is fuel related the spider injector.
