Found this wire hanging (center photo by firewall) not sure where, what it goes to. Looks like black /white stripe out of one of the big transmission harnesses going down behind the block.. Anyone know where it goes, thinking a ground looks like it had mount on the end it broke off?

On my 98, it is connected to the bottom of the bracket that the large wire loom is attached to. Best I can tell, it’s attached to the block maybe an inch or two below the level of the passenger valve cover.
The eyelet is probably still there on the bolt on yours.
