It was bring your kid to work day at the windshield washer fluid factory. The 10 year old boy named Calvin thought that it would be extremely funny to pee in the big vat of washer fluid. His idea was to piss on as many people as he could.... You know how if you have the window down and hit the washer button and some sprays on your arm or if going down the road it sprays all over the guys vehicle behind you.... He got you, Calvin peed all over you and millions of others! View attachment 398711
I am pissed off... :Big Laugh:

You know what they say, better than being pissed on!
Off, on... I don't wanna be pissed at all... :favorites37:

My son once, when he was as s baby was lying on the changing table, when I was just about to put his diaper on, when he peed in a high arc direct on my shirt.

Presumably he was already aiming for a career as a washer fluid chemist.

But I pushed him to go to medical school and today he's a urologist.

I raised 4 boys. I learned they all do that! You expose it, you better cover it or be ready to wear it!

Confession: I use the windshield washer so rarely, I've never bought new ww fluid; never refilled a reservoir. My '06 Chevy still has the OEM fluid (wiper blades, too). Been driving since 1966. Weird, I know. But I wash my shield by hand/squeegee when it gets dirty. I hate the half cleaned mostly smeared look of using the ww.

You might want to check that reservoir then. Some of the fluid blends will gel.

Thought I'd follow up to finalize this.
Got a answer finally from Peak regarding what the "alien spores" were. As suspected. Here's their answer:

"...they were most likely mold growth. This can occur on occasion to a +32ºF windshield wash that contains no methanol despite adding a mild biocide as a preventative measure. When the product is opened and reclosed or when filled at the filling terminal..."

I'd like to also say their Customer Service is top notch too. Not only did the CSA send me a high end set of Peak Silicone Wiper Blades but they also upgraded me to a $20 gift card for bringing this to their attention. That being said, I don't think I'll ever buy another plant based washer fluid. In fact, I'm making my own now.

Sounds like it is safe to rebuy their stuff -- they stand behind it.
