I've got a leak in the washer fluid delivery line to the rear window. The line has split, so, when you put fluid in the main reservoir and try to get washer fluid to the rear wiper, no fluid is delivered, I get a big puddle on the ground at the rear driver's side right at the corner of the back bumper, then the whole tank siphons out through the system. The leak is outside the cabin of the vehicle somewhere at the rear cargo door in the pillar.

My question is, how can locate how this line is routed to find the leak without doing hours of 'exploratory surgery' to find it?

I went to a stealership out of frustration and they told me that they wouldn't even repair it or even look at it because it was older than 5 years, and that they 'weren't allowed to tell me where the fluid line is routed because of liability" or some BS like that.

Let's see what Dr. Google says:

On a 2008 Yukon Denali, the rear washer fluid line typically runs from the reservoir (often shared under the hood) along the passenger side, tucked under the carpet/kick panels, into the rear pillar and then to the nozzle on the liftgate, often routed through the roofline or under the floorboard near the passenger side. It's a common soft plastic line, easily pinched or damaged when working near the passenger side kick panel or under the carpet.
Routing Details:
  1. From Reservoir: The line splits from the main system, usually near the front passenger side of the engine bay.
  2. Passenger Side Kick Panel: It goes down and runs under the plastic kick panel at the passenger side rear door threshold.
  3. Under Carpet/Trim: It continues along the floor pan, still on the passenger side, under the carpet and trim panels.
  4. Up the Pillar/Roof: It then either goes up the C-pillar (behind the rear door) or follows the roofline to the rear liftgate.
  5. To Nozzle: Finally, it connects to the nozzle on the liftgate.

Also there is a Facebook link, though I'm not a member of Facebook, so I cannot verify:

These lines are coupled together with a pretty simple sleeve arrangement, and they can become easily separated. So, unless you have actually seen your area of issue, don't assume that the line has split, other than popping out of a coupling. Mine separated at a coupling in the engine bay, so I pushed to coupling back together and wrapped a bit of duct tape around the lines, so that the 2 ends could not easily slide out of the coupling again.

wow that's ridiculous, almost unbelievable.
for future reference you can go to any gm dealer for dealer work, doesn't have to be chevy if they treated me like that I would never go back.
anyway if you just go under the bumper with a flashlight, look for the wet spot should be easy to find.

Totally believable! I gave up on dealerships decades ago..
(I know, sometimes I order parts and it's from a dealership, but I'll never walk into one again...)

$$$$$$$$ > $

Move along, they're waiting for the real money to show up.
Shame on you! Don't waste their precious time again!
