has anyone done this before ?? if so, what are the issues and suggestions ?? I'm assuming the 3/4 ton front differential is bigger than the 1/2 ton differential, i can easily see the rear end is much beefier and obviously the 4L80 trans is also bigger, any difference in the transfer case compared to the 1/2 ton unit ?? i got a smoking deal on a low miles drivetrain, complete !!!!! and i also have a very nasty 468c.i. engine going in it so i thought this would be a nice upgrade, if it will bolt in there of course ...

... any help would be greatly appreciated ... ;)

Besides mounting. it should fit. if i remember right 99 3/4 ton frames are a little taller to hold the larger drive train. but to be fair with enough money any thing can be done
