Will 285/55R20's fit with a 2" level kit on 2015 Yukon XL?

Hey guys. I have a 2015 Yukon XL and currently running the GM 22" Gloss Black wheels with 285/45R22's. I purchased a second set of 2015 Denali 20X9 wheels for the winter and will install more aggressive all terrain tires. Will 285/55R20s fit with a 2" level kit? Everything I've read indicates they should fit just fine. The current 285/45R22's have a diameter of 32.1 and the 285/55R20s are 32.3. Width is the same, however the circumference for the 285/55R20s is a bit larger.

I'm also deciding between the Michelin LTX A/T2 or the Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Both are expensive in the 285/55R20s, I'd rather not go back to the stock 275/55R20s though.

Any suggestions or input would be great. Will have before and after pics once I make a decision and get the level kit installed and wheels wrapped with rubber.

Can't help much with first hand experience on the fitment although I wouldn't hesitate to run that size given it's barely any larger, but I did just put on a set of the Nittro Terra Grapplers and really like them. A little bit of road noise on the freeway with the radio off, but that's it. Reviews on them have been positive for mileage. I wish Toyo made the new RT in a size that would fit!

I got replicas from YETI and they are perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another set.

My tire guys convinced me to go with the 305/50
on the stock 20's on the Yukon XL.
No level kit required. Running Nitto TG's Gen 2.

So will a 34" tire fit?

How do you expect me to answer that? Guess?

If so, I'd guess no. Doesn't look like you'll have enough clearance in the front.

Maybe 34" with an even bigger lift plus you have to watch your offset.

Oh I don't know, maybe your best educated guess? You say 33s fit no problem, so 1 additional inch would cause that much of an issue? Typically if one size is tight folks might say they fit but are tight or clearance is close, no problem to me insinuates plenty of clearance. So do you have any pics at full lock?

Just making sure you realize that we're all just guessing

I'll try to get a pic later from the side, 33" fits but looks very tight

Put about 100 miles on since the install, trying to get it to rub and no luck yet

So I say no chance at all on a 34" unless you lift even higher

What's the offset of your wheel, because you could still rub on a 32.5" if your offset is too aggressive

Thanks, it's the factory 20" wheels. I got 34s on my 14 gmc Sierra with a 2.5" leveling kit, may have to try and get the next size down.

i am waiting on a company to make a nice all terrain in a size that will fit my stock 22 inch wheel a little bigger then the stock tire, if i have to get a lift the max i would get would be leveling kit maybe 1 inch, but will not do that until the tire comes out. Any one know of something i am missing?
