I'm a fan of smaller wheels and more sidewall.
Have not had to in a while but airing down with big rims and small sidewalls just ain't gonna work for me.

I am loving the fans of common sense !! 24's are stupid, and you will see more & more of them. If you're on a road trip and rip a tire, you will NOT be finding a 24" tire in any rural town. In fact, I lived in rural america. All you see are A/T tires. Normal sizes, not the getto look, which GM seems to be going after.

I have 22"s on my 2021 Suburban High Country with Michelin Cross Climate 2's in 285 45 22 and it handles and rides great. I live in Michigan and our roads are terrible. They have always been. We have the heaviest OTR trucks around and take a toll on the roads. I have the Mag ride struts and I love them. I hear the 24"s ride great also. Don't knock it til you try it. They seem to be very popular. If I was going offroad, like very few owners do, maybe a different set up. The Cross Climates are great in snow also.

I run 315/70R17 on my '23 for winter. I've modded the front fender liners but no lift. No photos close at hand but I've posted several photos here, just search my threads.
