What the hell is this?

So I bought my first tahoe, and chevy, and noticed a air fitting on the front end as well as a trailer plug. Both mounted on the front bumper. Looks like they must have been towing the tahoe behind a rv or something. I just want to be sure though. As you can see in the picture there is an extra piece between the booster and the master. You can also see the air line going into it. Just want to know what this is.

Ok cool. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't need special attention or maintenance. Looks like I can leave it alone.

If was a tow behind rig, sure sounds like it was, make sure a qualified tech inspects the front and rear suspension thoroughly. Towed mileage can be ******* steering and suspension.

Since I did work for Monaco Motorhomes at one time as a service writer, I have seen almost every trailer brake or tow brake set up there is, except for what may have come around in the last 12 years. I have not seen this set up at the master cylinder that I can remember but the hook ups in front are normal.

You can also get a system that pumps fluid through the trans while it's being towed.
