I just bought this 98 Yukon and I am trying to figure out what lowering suspension parts I have installed on this truck. I have looked for stock ride height measurements and have found a couple references to a measurement of 21.25 " from center of wheel to bottom of fender. Is this measurement pretty close for a factory height? Also the pics below are of the rear leaf springs which have a bend in the longest leaf as they return to the shackle to lower the truck but i haven't seen anything like this online. Any ideas who makes this rear leaf? I like the look of the truck but need a little more ride ride height but I dont want to go stock. Thanks

The truck is lowered and I hit the bump stops on occasion there is only a couple of inches from the bump stops to the top of the axle. The stock springs have that bend downward toward the shackle? I like the look but an extra inch or so back there would be helpful. Here is what it looks like:

Here is the front spring mount. I was thinking I could just add a 1' block under the spring pack for a little more clearance.

springs prob have been dearched Looking at your rear bumpstops they are oem so changing them will give lots more travel.

I would do

1) short bumpstops
2) shock extenders
3) beltech sp shocks shorter length

Total 225 shipped

That there will get your truck more travel/shorter shock and better angle with shock etenders. Thats the first line I would go to get a better ride.

Pulled the rear shocks and they are bilstiens and seem to be fine. Would extenders work with these and give me a better shock angle? I had to do a similar fix to my 63 c10 to give the shock a more correct angle. Shrt bump stops will definately help.
