I was taking my running boards off today and its been a while since I've been under the Yukon and I found this shit. Not sure if its repairable or even worth fixing. I have a about 4-5k worth the new stuff in it over the last 2 years.
Your lucky! I just checked Tahoe prices in Utah and most run around $3200, usually with the same mileage as mine. Most cars up here that are fifteen years or older usually have rust because of all the salt on the road and nobody washes their cars. I might have to take a trip down south for my next car.
You should sometimes we get Northoners with rotted out cars and just laugh. Nobody touches northern cars unless your not too bright in the head. Dude I know picked a ram up we made fun of him he has rust bubbles, frozen bolts and its not worth close to what he paid
Welcome to the Arizona summer and the money vacuum it creates with the 'Hoe! Was down 2 pounds of R-134A, needed new seals, evaporator and compressor (not too shabby considering all those parts were factory from 1998!). Replaced driver's side CV axle and boot, clean and adjusted the rear brakes (what a difference that made in eliminating the mushy brake pedal). Flushed the brake fluid (now that was some dark and scary looking shit). Installed Airaid 200-520 PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer and K&N 57-3013-2 Fuel Injection Performance Kit Gen2 Air Intake Kit - what a difference those have made. Gonna have to wait and see how it affects HP and fuel economy.
you're not god and your word is not gospel.
Please dont crush the obs's...
But u the man... Sweet looking swap u got going there... Cant wait to see her wen shes running... Put sum videos up wen ur done... Dough nuts burnouts u know the usual...
Sorry guys. I paid $3600 for it, put more than $3000 into it (fixing all the usual stuff - fuel pump/sender, door locks, seat electronics, fuel spider, entire steering system, master cylinder, all the brakes, limo tint, new windshield, wheels/tires etc.).Seriously. If it's rust free, ship it north to the rust belt, where parts from it will go for half the price of the whole truck in Texas.

I had it listed on Craigslist Houston for $3000 - no takers. I dropped the price to $2500 - nothing. Dropped to $2000 - nothing. There are hundreds of OBS Tahoes/Yukons in Houston, usually listed around $1500.
Decided to take all the good parts off the 4 door (engine, body panels, interior etc.) and rebuild the 2 door 4x4. Sold the rest of the parts and crushed the remains.
But I do have 2 x 2 door OBSs now that I will keep forever, if that helps.![]()
I could of sold mine for almost $3000 up here and bought yours. Damn I could of had an extra grand in my pocket!
I don't know why Tahoes are so cheap down there. In Utah expect upwards of three grand especially if it's got a third row(the mormons love those).$2000!!!!!I could of sold mine for almost $3000 up here and bought yours. Damn I could of had an extra grand in my pocket!
