That thing uses the same mounts as a factory bumper right? So it's really not that much stronger unless you make better mounts.

I agree that on those flimsy brackets the bumper would be all show. 100% agree there with the weight of the bumper vs. construction of the brackets.
Do I think it would kill your engine? Not likely.

No way its the same. The bumoer is mounted to the frame which is boxt type the bracket is a flimsy lil bracket that if hit will break apart. I coukdnt mount the guard even if i ysed those brackets without cutting it so its gonna stay where its at because its just a bad idea and if i ever go back down then im out of 1k worth of cattle guard

Cleaned out my truck today, filled up the windshield washer tank with colder temperature rated stuff, and changed the wiper blades.
Going on a 3.5 hour trip tomorrow to pick up my dad then another 11 hours to western NC for 10 days. :D

For some reason, this strikes me as funny, a Floridian putting "cold" weather washer fluid in his car...

haha, I had the cheap 20°F stuff in there. I had to pay double for the only stuff that was rated lower than that...0°F. Funny part is both of my parents car's washer tanks leak because of this very reason. Headed up north and the lines popped open.

I just put engine coolant in it about 2 weeks ago just for this trip too.

Anybody know how to purge the washer lines? I ran it dry about 2 months ago and the passenger side nozzle doesn't spray like it should be.

That sucks. I was going to get AC delcos but went with autolites instead.
