I have had great success for 10+ years with Purolator Gold in everything I own. Even the Honda and yam 4 wheelers. @07Burb

Heard back from teh shop already.....so the cause of the major leak that developed yesterday is apparently the seal on the oil filter gave out. I have been using K&N oil filters for a couple of years now but maybe I'll finally switch back to WIX or AC Delco and just deal with PITA it is to get those filter tight again due to where they are in relation to the oil pain. So while it's in there they are going to go ahead and replace the oil pan gasket as well since it's a little leaky. That's a pricey repair due to having to get the transfer case out of the way but it's what's gotta be done. I should have the Burb back by the end of the day.

Good thing it wasn't a huge problem

The gold purolator has a good sand paper like grip innthe entire filter. I am able to get a great hand tight on an off with them. And I am happy with the internal components of the filter if you cut one open on the band saw.

I may have to look into that as an option. That's the problem with the other filters is they are smooth on the outside so hard to get a grip on with the hand since I can't get my full hand around the filter or even half of the filter.

Only a teaser. Will post clean pics later. Truck sat outside for a few days as the trans is not happy :(

Promised pics right away though. Here are the 24 TBSS wheels on a Esky

Going to need to shorten the links in the rear a 1/2-3/4" and have some new rubbing to deal with. 305 35 24. Curious what PSI you guys run yours too....as mine look a little flat to me. Pretty sure the shop filled them up to what the door says as I didn't check.

DLUX is good stuff. You will like it.

Can I apply it to the plastic chrome trim as well? For example mirrors covers, handles etc..

I don't see why you couldn't use it on the chrome trim, however I must say I have never tried using it that way. I have other coatings that I have used on those pieces such has CQuartz or CQuartz UK.

Looks really great brah

Was afraid tbss would be too sporty for a escalade but it works well.

FlUX works on that stuff too.

When I did my 22s the inserts are plastic chrome.
