Hey guys I thought I would chime in.. I just had two 12" subs installed today in my cadillac escalade 2008 black on black and I'm loving it. It's hooked up to my stock unit cause my truck is fully loaded so I do have the nav screen.. If someone could inform me on how to post pics from my IPad I would be more than happy to post some..

Chasing a small oil leak. Checked torque converter insp port, no oil, so hopefully not the rear seal. Some oil on filter side, some on starter side...hmmm. Cleaned it up and will monitor.

But, as is often the case when rooting around you find other problems. Notice the outboard boot on the drivers side cv axle is cut at the clamp and grease is visible. Oh well not a major fix and new axle shipped was $64 from Rockauto.

I gotta get new headlights for mine, the dealership I bought it from "polished" them a little too aggressively. Which ones did you go with?

TYC lights from Rock Auto. Nothing fancy. Since I don't want to spend the coin on a retro for my headlights I just wanted the stock look with the exception of LED bulbs for DRL and turn signal/parking lights.

I bought from Rock Auto because they always seem to ship fast and their price was almost identical to every where else.

Washed, waxed and installed some LED reverse bulbs? Also, ordered LED replacements for the interior dome bulbs as well as the puddle lights. Thanks for the link 07Burb.

Going to dealership today check out hopefully my new purchase. 2007 Tahoe LT. It has 101,000 miles but looks like it's in excellent condition. Let me know of things I should look at and or be aware of while I'm there driving/checking it out.

Anyone that can look up the Vin would be greatly appreciated.

Yes...take a small flat blade screwdriver and on one end there should be a spot for you to insert it in and the "lamp assembly" will drop down. Twist the bulb and socket out of the white plastic housing and swap bulbs :)

Great! I haven't found a good GM VIN decoder online. Call your chevy dealer and as them for some reports... last 8 of the VIN will get you full build specs, and you can ask them to run a dealer maintenance search... any warranty or other work done at any chevy dealership (in the country) will pull on that report
