My rad has a slight leak too, since new... seriously
Mine drips on drivers frame rail, never hits ground I noticed it shortly after purchase and when I brought it in for warranty work on something else they said they didn’t see anything .... service advisor swore up and down he was under there, head mechanic was.... blah blah.... talk about useless...I wrote dealerships off years ago.....its not bad but once a year i top off the overflow..... I guess i am lazy...This has leaked enough to piss on the ground. I had no idea. I saw some fluid on the ground the other day, but I just thought it was random condensation or whatever. Temps have been stupid in IN lately. Today had a nice puddle, and I changed the oil thursday and even topped off the coolant on friday morning, only to find this bull. Grr no good car maintenance deed goes unpunished.
I'm thankful its a relatively easy replacement, so I can do it myself. I've had to take other vehicles to the mechanic because you have to take the whole front end off just to replace the radiator.

mmmmmm new rubber
Nice!My wife said this morning it still smelled like rubber from the last two days with the tires sitting out there ....
It wnt take a lot over that time period. My dash cam is hardwired and about 5 days it will drain my battery, dead, dead. It took me 3 times to realize what was causing it.So I left to go on a trip last Wednesday and got back last night. I took an Uber to and from the airport so my truck sat from Tuesday night until this morning. When I went to start my truck this morning, the battery was completely dead, not even a click.
Had three different people try to jump me off with no luck, and it took a tow truck with a 7.3 Powerstroke combined with a jumper box to get my truck to crank.
Anybody ever had an issue like this before? I assume I have a drain in the system somewhere but not sure where. The only aftermarket electronic component I have is my head unit.
Says the guy who just put on new intros.....mmmmmm new rubber
I was gonna I stall my dash cam in the next few weeks, should I not hardwire it? Obviously I don't want my battery going dead out of nowhere. It wnt take a lot over that time period. Hardwire it to a 12 switched power. Mine has the gforce parking mode, but I maybe drive her once every 2 weeks now. If you drive it every day or every few days, you should be fine.I was gonna I stall my dash cam in the next few weeks, should I not hardwire it? My Uniden R3 is hardwired as well but I unplugged it before I left. It’s not gonna bleed power if there’s nowhere for it to go right? It wnt take a lot over that time period.
