I don’t remember which of you clowns mentioned that little plastic clip on the door handles. I swear it was the next day I pulled up on the outside handle on my right rear door and felt something pop off. The handle quit working from outside. It’s the door my dog uses to get in and out. Today it finally was nice outside so I opened it up and that damn thing had popped off the rod. I snapped it back on and am left wondering if my visiting the forum was the reason I knew how to fix it or the reason it popped off because that’s one helluva coincidence. So maybe quit this talk about cracking dashes for gods sake. :p :p:pView attachment 479496
I had my whole passenger handle pop off this winter. The inside screws gave loose and the base snapped off on the inside. I was not a happy camper. Used a Dorman one and noticed my yellow clamp was broken too so I did exactly what you did. Zip tied to the rescue and all was good again

This seems to be the year for pulling off door handles. I just replaced my rear passenger side door handle earlier this week.

Noticed no park lamps on left side, one tail bulb was out, fuse blown.
Old bulbs were about a year old, sylvania long life my ass!
Old bulb has dark spot, heat discolored the plug a little.. no obvious break in filament..

Swore I'd never buy sylvania again..
(LED taillights, dim, total crap. LED interior lights, ugly geen/blue color temp. Long life bulbs, don't last long at all!)

Go to Oreilly's, guess what the only bulb there? Syl-*****-vania..
Spent $37 for 25 15A fuses($13) and 2 tailbulbs. Guess I spent $20 on a pack of 2 bulbs!

if they have the error free led's at this Auxito store then they will have the resistor built in and you will not have hyperflash, led's do not produce the same heat as incandescent and won't burn up the connector. Beware of fake auxito this store is the real one.

I have/tried auxito brake lights, what I don't like about them is, when you step on the brake, they hardly get any brighter..
I worried someone won't notice I'm braking.. Also the bright red light washed out the backup camera view.

I am running auxito LED headlights, no issues so far. Decent, reasonably priced upgrade.
But I'm trying HID once I get new housings. (want better dispersion and cutoff)

If anyone wants auxito brake lights and sylvania LED brake, reverse, and marker lights... I'll sell em cheap..

interesting, I went from oem to k2 escalade style, otherwise I would probably be using aftermarket full led housings of some variety

was hearing a strange noise on the passenger side the last few days, kind of sounded like maybe a bad rear axle bearing, did a cursory check the other day with no real synopsis other than maybe the front brake pads were the culprit, they were about 2/3's worn out so I replaced them a little bit ago and walla noise gone. Also found one of the front splash guard bolts was missing and the thread is of course no good so I drilled a oblong hole on that side and put a worm clamp thru it and around the front bumper support, snug as a bug in a rug now

What did I do? I drove my Yukon over the weekend...

...for the first time since 12/9/25, the day before I fell and ruptured my quad tendon. Now that I can bend my knee 90 degrees, I was able to just work the pedals with the seat all the way back and the pedals all the way forward.

It was glorious!

replaced the U joints yesterday on my 07 with 220k miles. No more vibrations at highway speed. Love it when things get fixed.

Pulling apart the valley cover today because it’s leaking oil. The bolts didn’t even have resistance when coming out I guess that’s why. Trying to figure out how to replace the gasket on the riveted cover. Posted here about it. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/vlom-gasket.157926/
