Dropped off at trans shop for trans service and cooler install.
* Shop just called and said I have the factory trans cooler. I'm such a knucklehead, don't know how I missed that! Is that an option with the tow package? Oh well, saved me some $$$ and I'm happy with that!![]()
Air in the lines wood do it or low power steering fluid. Have you changed the power steering fluid? But I wouldn't rule out the matercyilinder.Did the dimmer switch on the lade. Question anyone know why the brakes would be soft sometimes then hard other on them. Has abs light on. Betting it's master cylinder but might be abs related idk I'll put a scanner in when I get a chance
How was the miliage driving there ! Have you calculated what you spent to get there ?Put a good 1133 miles on her driving from NY to Florida, now getting ready to drive the 2min to Seaworld from the timeshare with the kids. My little guy is soo excited he loves Dolphins.

I actually didn't notice much of a difference. I noticed a big difference years ago when I did the swap from my stock brakes to the NNBS setup. Swapping from my stock NNBS setup to the R1 brake setup with their performance package of slotted/drilled rotors and pads wasn't crazy. Not sure if it was worth the money, or maybe when I upgraded years ago the pads and rotors I went with were same quality as these. Didn't have a chance to bleed the brakes since it was a last minute swap so maybe after I do that it'll change. I'll update when it's done.@Pachanga02 How did that new brake upgrade treat you on the ride down south?
Love the fog lights where did you get them from? And the bar looks clean tooI have some custom mounted LED fogs which I have another thread on (you can see them in the pictures). I like them so much i decided to add a lightbar but I didnt want it to be very noticeable. I selected the location of the lower grill and decided to do a non-welded installation so anyone at home with simple hand tools could copy.
Here's the grill area in question, the lower plastic piece between the tow hooks.

Youll want to slide under the truck and remove the pushpins that hold it in.

Here it is on the ground

Here is what we are gonna replace it with, a 26" curved bar. Notice they are almost identical in size.
![]()
To install you will need some flat bar. I chose aluminum but steel would be ok also. You can buy this from Home depot for about $10 per piece. We will only need two small pieces.

For simplicity sake I chose a bolt that holds the tow hook to attach our bracket too. No reason to reinvent the wheel when the bolt is very close to the location of the lightbar. We will need to drill a mounting hole.

Based on location and angle the brackets need a 90 degree bend or so. Clamp it and just twist it with a pair of pliers.

Now they have final bends, cut to size, and a hole drill to mount the light to.

Here is an underside view:

Reattach the stock bolts, your brackets, and your new lightbar
