The crossbar is too short actually. The z71 rails must be slightly closer together. But there is enough meat on the ends that I can slide each of them out ~1/2" reattach them and they would still be quite sturdy. I have not made that modification just yet. Should have tried harder to find a "escalade" set of cross bars. Doh.
I have Esky crossbars I doubt I’ll ever need…

Well, I finally got my rig back from the fabrication shop since I got wrecked and it was totaled a few months back. Now I'm rocking some new custom front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, and a 9500lb winch!

I googled rock sliders and got a picture of your setup! Dang that's awesome... Do you have some more pictures of how they rigged up mounting locations? On the rock sliders... I see where it mentions were welded to the frame. what points? Any pictures from bottom where stuff mounts up?

I just hit my rear bumper last week off road and thought of all that wasted trim on the rear end that could be cleaned up to improve the departure angle.

Whaasup T!? Sorry y’all. Life’s been crazy, and tbh, this ******** “update” with the censorship, and no Tapatalk access has really made it a PITA to monitor and respond to anything.

You’ll be happy once you wean yourself off that tapacrap and get used to using a browser. As far as the censorship, fck it you just need to get creative. :head3:

I have never understood the point of the "tapacrap". Most of my phones for the last 5+ years have browsed forums beautifully. What's the idea behind that junk??
I'm feeling brave like I want to do some mechanical work this weekend!!
We will see what happens in the morning. I'm getting the itch to install my 2020 brakes but the current setup doesn't sqeak or anything!?!

Also that dude with the Bose delete thread didn't help. I used to be a serious audiophile and he got me thinking $$$$.

Well I could do it for $150 if I want to use Chinese glass which I don’t want to do. Ended up having the chip filled as there is a National backorder on Tahoe windshields. Called 5 glass shops in two states and they all laughed and said the same thing….National backorder.

Yesterday I installed a new hood latch release pull handle. The old one lost it's spring and wouldn't fully return after being pulled. As much as I love OEM parts, I couldn't bring myself to pay $75 for the AC Delco assembly with the cable, so I settled on this $10 part from Amazon which works just fine.
