I replaced the rear climate control aspirator, not fun.
Remove C and D pillar trim, coat hooks, trim across the rear at the gate. Removed the three push in retainers.
Working through the hole the aspirator was installed in I removed the wire then working with the headliner pulled down from the rear.
Then put the new one in, tricky attaching the wire, my arms should have been 4 inches longer or had a helper.
First I tried to reach through the dome lights to do this but that was a fail. Then I got my GM manuals out, they did not say to remove the D pillar trim and wanted you to work from the rear door opening after releasing the ductwork from the velcro, mine wouldn't release...plan "B" D pillar removal.

I need to do that also. Rear one is buzzing. Blew it out with air, but still doing it.

Installed the NNBS shifter. Thought I could pull the pins out and reuse the existing connector....ended up have to cut/solder. I didn't bend mine as I don't have a vise. Mistake, it sits real low. Will do another day but I hate that effing clamshell....such a PITA.

I know this has been discussed since the beginning of time. Only thing I can't find a good answer or a good thread about it. But what is the best option to add the puddle lights on an 99-02. I have tried connecting to the door courtesy lamp and also using the ground from the mirror harness and running one wire to the courtesy lamp. Still can't get it to work, I can get it to turn on but the lamp will not shut off. Any thoughts?????

Even after you close the door and inside lights go out?

It has to go out when the courtesy light goes out or else you’re not connecting to it. Ground it to one of the grounds in the door harness, connect the power lead to the power lead of a courtesy light and it will go on and off with the courtesy lights.
