Installed new head, side, and fog light assemblies with LED bulbs all round - and a custom signal relay to prevent the "bulb out" rapid blinking. Custom repair on the windscreen washer hoses. Replaced blown fuses to restore OBD2 function. Replaced missing retainer clips on interior panels. Replaced faulty lock actuator on drivers side front door. Trimmed and realigned arch liners to stop 33" tyres on 20" wheels catching when reversing.

The entire car had specks of rust and just lack of paint care. I clay barred and Meguiars Ultimate Compounded the crap out of it. Daughter even helped me clay bar which was really cool. She did a great job.

Then I polished, sealed and glazed it. Gave the engine bay a solid couple Simple Green washes as it looked like hell and coated it with some 303.

Still needs a litttle more work on some of the trim, but pretty happy with the paint outcome.

2013 Subaru WRX. Pretty quick little 5 speed. Given it a couple runs with the Tahoe.

Just figured I'd share a little extra work.

People piss me off! This is why I try to find an end spot every time we go anywhere. Well, this side was not against the curb while we were at the mall today... Yes it's extremely dirty, been raining non stop, but seriously!

People fail to realize that body damage cost $$$ to fix..file an insurance claim on her and see if she says so what. Little dents and stuff can be $400 to fix.

So last night I tried some STP son of a gun on my rear vent covers:

Came out so shiny you can see yourself in it.

This is what I came out to today:

Looks like rain will wash most of it right off.
So don't bother with STP S.o.a.G. Still works good on regular interior plastics.

Mechanic quoted me $974 for the abs control module. Says it's a dealer part. What do y'all think about that? Sounds like too much to me, but I also don't know the extent of the parts needed.

Seems high for just the part here's one for my truck, yours should be the same price

How hard is it to replace, do it yourself? It's 267 at advanced auto plus a 100 core charge so it'll be 367 but bring your old one back and get 100 back

Had to replace the passenger's side headlight from when a towtruck driver "forgot" to chain down my ass end on a flatbed, and it slid forward when he went to stop. Grille cracked, and the headlight assembly broke. The owner of the garage was cool, got me a like-new assembly, a new grille shell, and a replacement set of 9006 LED headlights.

While I was swapping parts, I remembered that someone on here had disassembled their headlights, and popped the amber marker out. Since there isn't a light assembly behind it, I figured "why not?"...

Now I've got to look for the lower light assembly in an all-clear version, will find amber LED's to fit in them.... might even use some of the 18mm Blue LED's I have, put one in each corner where the amber lenses were.

EDIT:

thinking about clear lights, got searching E-bay - which do you guys think would look better?

Black housing/smoked lens?

Or black housing/ clear glass?

Or Chrome/ clear glass?

And plan on adding the red/clear taillights:http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-06-Chevy...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

See I haven't got a clue what all needs to be replaced though. It might be both parts, which explains that price. I'm taking it to another mechanic tomorrow.
