On the weekend, but I got new tires on the 'Slade and gave it a good wash after a month of nothing but rain here:

Finally getting an alarm installed with an autostart. Getting rid of the factory crappy alarm. I had an appt on Saturday, and they screwed up, so I'm getting the autostart for another $50, instead of the $175 they quoted me. They're also putting in a relay for free to hook up the horns. This, coupled with those Jimmy jamz should slow some thief down, hopefully.

Dude remind me not to take my truck to any shops around you. Sounds like they all suck :banghead:

What do you guys think? Do it? I so badly want to do it. Cheap, I could do it myself with the help of my friend. I have the money, and I'll have the time in a few weeks. What do you think about the specs on this. Good for a daily driver?

Go for it! Then you'll have to have BB tweak your tune, but that's pretty easy for Justin.

I was bored, and went out at 2am to scrap the remains of the bumper stickers off, and polish the rear bumper on the Yukon XL.

It looks like they tried to use steel wool to remove the circular one. I just used my razor scraper and some goo-gone and they came off without any fuss.

Looks like I need to get another bumper sticker to put on this side, or just put the one I got over this spot.
Looks good, what polish did you use?

That's close to the Vinci Trucker Cam I'm looking at:

DUR @ .004" 278*/ 286*
DUR @ .050" 216*/ 224*
LIFT .551/.551
LSA 115*
5A

That's my other question, how would I do that because I got the in person tune, will I need to purchase the auto cal now

I believe you have a lifetime tune so maybe you can get a discount on the Autocal.

Your hoe is gonna be a monster. If I can get the autocal at a discount I'll definitely do that so I don't have to worry about it in the future

I'll say this- it already is a monster! It's such a blast to drive right now but I've heard I need stronger valve springs and if I'm doing that, I'm doing a cam. And having an Autocal on hand is awesome- to be able to send data to BB and have them analyze it and to be able to have a new tune emailed to you is incredible.

All he said was ABS. He gave a note to my dad with the prices on it, and it only said ABS. Like I said, I plan on getting a second opinion on it. Getting it rebuilt might be a possibility, but I can't have her down for that long, unfortunately. It's not a good situation, no matter which way you slice it.
What symptoms do u have with the ABS? Most of us who had random abs/brake lights sent the module off and have it repaired. Less than $100 fix.

im going to work with my dad this summer which will pay much better than my current job, plus I'm graduating highschool and have already gotten a decent amount of money that I put in savings and I'm not going to touch that, but the rest is going into this truck. Should have a pretty nice truck by the end of the summer. Plan on the cam, new gearing, and rebuild my front end because it's creaky and old.

And you need to put that thing on a dyno, especially if you do a cam. I would love to see the numbers you're putting down, and a time at the strip
