i really want a trans temp cluster, but i dont feel like spending the coin.
i guess i gotta do some junkyarding.
Is the trans temp cluster just plug in/play? Meaning, can I just get any cluster with a trans temp and exchange it with my NONE trans temp cluster and it will work?
How does one program the miles as well as all other data from the current DIC onto the new cluster?
Any education on this subject will be appreciated, thanks.![]()
Yes it's plug an play. No programming needed.
If you order the cluster from rockauto they'll program it for you. [emoji106]
THANKS.
And how do they program it? By the VIN#?
Yep Robbie is correct! It's a pretty straight forward process.
snapped a couple quick shots this morning before leaving for work.

its awesome how much it changes the look of the truck.
Even after replacing 2 hose clamps a week ago I was still losing coolant. Changed out the water pump and thermostat. One of the gaskets went bad and some was coming out of the weephole of the pump. I bought AC Delco parts. Props to RockAuto for their low low prices and quick shipping!! No more leaks......
My water pump started to leak the same way... Just all of a sudden leaked. Always buy top quality, you get what you pay for.

I head mixed reviews about the AC delco pumps... I ended up buying a gates... My oe pump is still good just the gasket was bad... Figured I would replace it all.
