I washed the 01 it was getting pretty disgusting, the 2000 I haven't really done anything with lately I drive it once a week usually, hoping to get a house with a garage/shop after the new year I would like to get another truck and a decent project vehicle since the Typhoon is literally almost done and I've finally got the interior mostly back together

My 03 started chirping a few days ago, so I changed both tensioner pullies yesterday. Was nice and quiet all day yesterday, but today heard some intermittent chirping again. Grrrrrrr.........

Still need to adjust them a bit more got my suspension done setting my ride height then I'll tweak the projectors. I'll snap a pic of the front of the truck tomorrow. My phone really doesn't pick up the light output that good have this semi ok pic while driving and a pic of the driver side light all done.

I glad I took a look

Front left wheel bearing.

I been getting an ABS light when I made turns at slow speeds by reading other posting they said this could be caused by a dirty Speed sender so I went out to clean it around 3:30 PM when I found out the wheel bearing was shot.

Ran down to Napa and they were still open got home then found out I needed a 36mm socket Napa was closed by then they close early on Sunday.

Had to run down to Auto Zone and used my rewards points and picked up the socket I needed.

Another simple job turned in to a job that cost more money than planned what new.

Looks great man. Looks so much better without that dang reflector in the high beam spot! Wow I thought my phone was bad with output shots... Yours is terrible lol. In for more pics! How are you liking the extra output?

Gave here a good bath and shine.

Plasti dipped some of the interior door trim pieces to see how it would accent with the light grey and charcoal stock colors. Dipped the door handle inserts and the trianglular piece by the mirror. Hit the speaker grilles a few months ago with Krylon.

My 4wd was acting up. Would jump from 2wd to neutral and sometimes 4wd hi. Service 4wd message etc...

Pulled it into the shop. Dropped the driveline. Pulled off the encoder motor. Opened up the encoder motor and swapped out the position sensor. Put it all back together with a new gasket/seal and all is great again.

Sensor+seal = $60

Other options:

Dorman encoder motor $160

GM encoder motor online $359

Stealership parts and labor ~ $900 to $1300

If you have a 04/05 tahoe/Yukon and get these intermittent symptoms and a stored (history) a C0327 code, do yourself a favor and change out the sensor itself and not the whole motor. 90% of the time the motor will loutlast the vehicle. The sensor inside is plastic and akin to a clock-spring mechanically but basically a variable resistor in function and that is what the actual issue is. The Transfercase Control Module cannot figure out where it is engaged and throws errors and wont allow engagement at times.
