Do you have a part number for this? I keep seeing that they advertise for the 1500 but not a tahoe specifically.
MMTC-K2-14 Mishimoto website will state it fits Chevy Silverado 1500 but it how it is installed is basically the same. The transmission hoses it comes with fit perfectly.

Installed AFE Power Momentum GT cold air intake system. Bought it back in Oct of last year as it was finishing production and finally was shipped out to me mid January. After install I can totally tell the difference in Torq and hp. Working with my Trifecta tune to dial it in.

That radio screen is huge! I really like how you still have a knob/dial as well!

Yeah, that was one of the selling points for me. I like having the knob. and that knob works for both fan/temp and volume. Drove the burb to work today rather then the truck just so i can play with it some more

Very distracting to me.

I guess i'm at that perfect age where i can afford big screens and not find them distracting. i mainly have it sitting on android auto with the maps. It's nice having a big screen for the map so you can see decently far out without having to zoom out. if i had it just on the home screen 24/7, yeah, it would be annoying. but being that is 90% map, its more useful then distracting

At 250k miles, this cabin filter is likely original. There were no markings on the filter itself and the area looked like it had been factory sealed no signs of it ever being replaced.

This was the air filter too.

I've never seen that particular brand before, what did you go with? Any affect on audio quality? Any issues interfacing with the oem electronics?

So far its working at 90%. I need to pull it back out and double check some connections. I'm not sure if the canbus module is working right, but basically i'm not getting any HVAC controls on the screen to work, but it reads everything just fine. The hard buttons on the bottom work perfectly though, so i still have hvac controls, it's just not as fully functional as it should be. The other issue i'm having is the backup camera isn't working, but that could be a bad connection on my end. I connected it and pulled and moved the radio several times without rechecking that. So, i'll be pulling it and rechecking things this weekend. Linkswell has the best reputation of the tesla style screens. And i really liked the X-knob as they call it. Works for audio, power, temp and fan settings. Really easy to switch it over to HVAC controls as well. Buuuuutttt all of the tesla style screens are all made in china. Most of the other brands tend to have a lot of issues, so time will tell. If these hiccups can get solved pretty easily i'll be in love with it. Wireless Android auto connects super fast, no audio issues, using the factory bose system. They have an adapter box for that that woks flawlessly. Linkswell also claims all their odds and ends are inhouse rather then outsourced. I think the canbox is the issue, either a bent pin or bad box. I can get some signals, no issues with reading, but writing back up can is the issue from what i can tell. So we will see what happens At this point i would say stay tuned before spending any money

I suspect my "radio" is junk so I've been thinking about something like this. That's way too much screen for me but good to know it can be done. We have a top notch car stereo shop in town and the guy can do just about anything. Interesting!

Car steroe's are easy. Nothing really that complicated about them. I'm not an audiophile, but i am also very mechanically savvy so that probably helps. if you aren't, Crutchfield is your friend. if you are, Crutchfield is a rough guide to lay you out down a path of searching for better prices. Even with this radio being the most in depth one i've done, it's mostly GM's fault. i think Linkswell could've simplified their wiring harness, but i also understand that the back side of their radio is universal, and the wiring harnesses are what they do that is vehicle specific, so doing it that way will almost always require a rats nest of wires to adapt everything correctly
