I hope a similar post isn't out there but I searched and couldn't find anything.

I wanted to see what Cold Air Intake systems everyone has and why did you choose the one you have? Do you see any benefits in it? Horsepower? MPG? Anything........

The main reason I am asking is because I am wrestling on getting some sort of CAI system but I don't know which one yet. So why not make this fun and see what you have and why.

Happy postings :)

I still use the stock CAI that came with the Tahoe. I tried an aftermarket CAI and while the WOT induction noise sounded great, it seem to reduce the gas mileage because it sounded so great. :Good or Bad: :hmmm2:

I'm using the AFE Pro5R intake, sounds good and gives slightly better throttle tip-in. Gas mileage is not better.

Spectre CAI for me. Nice looking CAI and ran one on my last Avalanche. Price is right.

How do you like your CAI? what do you notice with it?

I love it! Looks and sounds good. I doubt I gained much in the way of performance but for $150ish the sound it makes alone was worth the $

K&N Blackhawk. Probably not any better than most others but it has a dry filter that does not require oil.

I see that the AirRaid Jr is just a filter and a tube. Seems kind of pricy for that. Why couldn't you just get the same sized tube and fit it?

Just the MIT tube alone is $130 - ridiculous price if you ask me.

What else will work???
