Weird noise from vent.

So I got a 03 and have developed an interesting issue. When my ac or vent air is on, and it's on the upper vents blowing in your face. I have a noise. It sounds kinda like a squeaky door that keeps opening and closing with a second or two delay between squeaks. When I have it blowing on my face and feet the noise is gone. I think it's a flap that opens and closes for the feet. Has anyone out there had this problem and how did you fix it?

Your other squeak is probably a blend door actuator squeaking as it's moving. There are threads on that too

Blend door actuator or mode door actuator. Do you have automatic climate control?

If he has the aspirator fan, then he has to have automatic climate.

Right, good call. When my blend door act went in my '03 Z71 it made a clicking sound. Then blew hot air in the summer.

Yes I do have the auto climate control. BTW people on this forum rock, I keep thinking I might have a response I a couple of days and I get multiple in a couple of hours.
