Why are you looking at trailers on the east coast? You do realize by the time you get the trailer to you it will negate any savings if not cost you more.

Yeah that size is basiclly the best size. Not to big but not to small. Plus you can work with that in smaller areas.

It takes 8 gl of water per vehicle, your calculation of 25-30 cars with a 90 gl tank is WAY off. 90 gl tank would give you 11.25 washes. Keep in mind that a gl of water weighs 8 lbs so 90 gl tank x 8=720 lbs, 150 gl tank x 8= 1200 lbs. Something to think about when figuring your total towing weight.

I can make 3 grand per month or a bit less with school and summer way more and the loan is from my mom not a bank
.
Don't expect to make this starting out. You would need a lot of complete details a month to make this. You want to insure your business in case you damage a customers vehicle. Look at garage keepers insurance.

Good luck.

That's just what the guy told me about the water wasn't my calculation and I'm making alot right now so if I open my businuess with a trailer it would be a lot more if I'm doing 2-5 cars every weekend that's at least 600 a week and x4 is 2400

You are going to get Hot Pressure washer arent you? Where I work the detailing business is a HUGE business. My cousin pays 55 bucks just to wash one semi truck. But they also clean the engine bay with hot water its a must lifts up all of the mud with one pass.

What all do you do for $125 a car?
Wash, clay, prewax cleanser re wash sometimes, wax for paint then wash and clay the wheels clean and polish wheels and seal them up and a interior clean vacuum and clean plastics and spray smell of choice
Yes, just curious..... what is your menu / charges?

Regency, that's a pretty good service for $125. Do you offer any other service for a lower price? Do you offer any kind of buffing service? Have you figured how much your chemicals/supplies will cost you per month? I personally would go with an open trailer as opposed to a close trailer. You can set up an open trailer with a tank, generator, pressure washer, shop vac, extractor and other supplies for under 5k depending on what type of equipment you get. Here in Texas we have to have a water reclaimation system to capture the wash water.
I plan on opening a detail business in the spring, I have to get some more training on buffing out swirls marks etc. I have seen cars where either the owner did his own buffing or paid someone with little or no experience and it was not pretty. Paint correction is no fun. Good luck with everything.

Yeah something lower would be a wash and clean cars-40 trucks-50 and yeah I do offer paint correction which would be around 200 and then the biggest is including undercarriage which is 325 and I've looked into that and I don't need it will carry one if customer requests one though thanks man oh I also do everything by hand it sucks

The reason I'm so low is so people will be drawn to my service versus other detainees with those prices doubled and back before I did it it made me mad how high the prices were and wanna treat people right
