I used the Dorman on my 99 Silverado, installed like in 2019. They seem to be holding up good so far.
And installed some Summit Racing ones on my 06 Suburban last year, although not the ones on that link.
Regarding your question, can't you just install some junkyard/part-out special exhaust manifolds? There's a flatness spec you can check. Paint them with some high temperature paint if you want, until you buy whatever you want to run. The factory ones actually flow pretty good.
I'm actually thinking of removing mine to paint them just for fun. I've never painted exhaust manifolds before though.

The LY6 cylinder heads I have use M8 x 1.25 thread pitch for the exhaust manifold bolts.
Again, I'm not sure why the Dorman website says that M10 x 1.5 fit LY6 heads, because that's wrong.

Do you put thread locker on the threads in the head?
I did not.. sometimes it's nice to be about to screw them out. theses also have a 6.5mm hex part to screw them in and out of needed.
I honestly don't know what our truck dipstick looks like but here's the only tight part I had. I had the dipstick out when I put the headers(well manifolds but headers to me compared to stock) in. it was a bit of bend and or wiggle around to get in between. but no real issue

Ordered those Dorman studs from Scamazon. Fingers crossed there's at least Spanish on the box.
