I don't know your goal, but that USB port hooks to the radio and if you hook an iPhone to it, you can play the music on your iPhone through the radio and control the selections with the steering wheel radio controls.

For this factory configuration you will need

USB Port to Radio Data cable: 20953896
USB Port: 20944422
Port Cover: 20888040

So $5 for the cover and $30 for the USB port...


but like yates said, I'd like to see the back of the port and see how it hooks up. Might be stopping by the dealer tomorrow...




You would have to have some type of plastic something to hold it in place. Probably a lot cleaner to get the pieces form the dealer.

EDIT: Looks like i need the USB-A male to a USB-Mini B Female

since I have a USB plug on the back of my radio. Going to the dealer now...

I actually have a USB cable. you will need a male mini USB to male USB. retail for the 2 parts I bought was $70. I can get them a lot cheaper. PM if your serious.

Also, can you let us know if the console USB port is disabled in the process?

I don't have the console USB. However, I'm almost positive you can only have 1 factory USB plug. They plug in to the factory radio wiring at the same location. I think the console plug is for SUVs and the dash plug is for Trucks.
