The auxiliary power (cig lighter) plugs stay on when 2012 Yukon ignition is turned off. I was told that they would automatically shut down if the battery became low. They don’t. Has anyone converted them to turn off with the ignition switch?

your probably better off just wiring up whatever it is your running with a hardwire connection to auxiliary power, there are tons of adapters out there for doing that

Not sure where there is a 20amp run/crank terminal...

But the MBEC has a 10amp run/crank feed you could use to power a relay..

Not sure what your overall objective is here. Do you plug a device into your cigarette lighter that is always on, and it is draining your battery?

For me, having a 12 volt access plug that is always hot is a feature and not a liability.

If you want an ignition-controlled 12 volt power, there are several other options for achieving that.
