Update on the sub/amp install

I'm piss off right about now. Just try to install the PAC-AOEM14-16A in the truck and found out the pins that were wired in the harness is all wrong. No power to the radio at all. Help please? is there a way to re wire the harness?

Update

Ok, I finally broke down and bought an AVH-P4300DVD for the truck. I did some serious searching and found it at the very flea market I cursed a few weeks back. Online it was going for $375 - $415, I bought it for $319. So I will try and install it this weekend, mind you I've never done this before so this will be funny. From everything I've read and watched its just connecting the same color wires together. Lets hope so......

PS @ quietfly, I have an 2007 tahoe LS.....

I installed the same unit. FYI....if you want to have the option to play dvds while driving, you can ground the wire you are supposed to ground to the emergency brake and ground it to the unit itself, then get a bypass button and install like I did. I put the button in the ashtray for easy access and also if a cop sees my dvd player playing....just hit the button :)

Ok, after weeks of disapponitments and anger I'm finally done with the install. I got just what I was looking for, more "bass" and I did it myself. I think thats what makes this install worth it. Note to all, if you are installing that LAN-01 for onstar, its a pain in the ass. That box is so big, I had to trim off part of the radio bay to get it in there. So thanks to all for your input and if any else have questions about my adventure I will be happy to answer "If I have the answer" Also be care of the antenna adapter you get when installing a new radio. Make sure its the right one. In other words take your radio out, pull the antenna out to make sure of the adapter you need. I had to go out to bestbuy and get the adapter for a chysler to use the AVH-P4300.
