Hey all. I sold my 2014 tahoe ppv last year. I miss it to this day but i dont miss the 13 mpg.

Anyways, I drove a 2023 tahoe ppv the other day, and it felt markedly slower from 0-50 than my 14. Not sure why. I was honestly disappointed. My 14 felt like a race truck. Just wanted to let the GMT-900 guys know they've got a fast truck lol

What motor was in your 2014? From what I understand, most were 5.3L, but there was one variant with a 6.0L motor.

5.3 with 90k miles. It felt fast for such a heavy tank.

Seems unusual. My 2014 PPV gets 18-22 mpg consistently. Did your PPV have a tune? My 2004 Yukon XL 2500 8.1l gets 13 mpg highway.

I have been looking at newer PPV's. With the information from your post I'll definitely drive one before I buy. I don't feel like my '14 is fast but definitely respectable for what it is. Good info to know.
