Trans swap

I have a 99 Tahoe that the trans went, doesn't even have park. Has a 4l60e trans. I have a 99 trailblazer 2wd with a 4l60 e also. If I take the tail shaft housing off will the trailblazer trans fit the Tahoe or what do I need to do to make it work? They are the same trans just one is in a 4x4 and the other in a 2wd. Please help.

I'm no trans expert. But, I believe it's a lot more involved than swapping or removing the tail housing. You'd have to swap the output shaft and I believe that requires going into it from the other end, basically gutting it. Might as well do a full rebuild at that point.
