Yeah I would probably just do hose and not the OEM lines. The lines are leaking already coming from the radiator, so that's what I figured I would do but then saw I didn't have a cooler and figured I would add one but wanted to get the lines right before I dove in.

The line that is going to the top of the radiator would then route to the transmission cooler instead.....then the other side of the transmission cooler would then go up and connect to the top of the radiator correct?

What is the OEM size, I was checking on ebay and could get a tru-cool LPD 18K for $70. It is 7" x 11".....I know most do the 40K which is almost double at 8" x 22"

Id have to measure when i got home, you have a leak?, are you planning on bypassing the radiator cooler, the radiator is needed to warm the trans fluid so you don't experience firm or hard shifting, the oem setup still utilizes the radiator

leaking on both where it turns from the hard line to the rubber....guessing leaking from the clamp like it seems they all do. So was just going to redo it with rubber hose again and hose clamps. Since I was doing that I was going to go ahead with a cooler since I will already be doing half the work just redoing the lines

How do you figure up what size cooler you need? I know the GVW is around 7500-8000 with all us and luggage. Then another 4000ish for the trailer and atv's we usually pull. So all together that would be 12000-15000....yet what I read is that I should get one that is rated at 22000-26000 JUST for an suv.
