traction control

I have a 2006 chevy tahoe when is switch to my aftermarket wheels my traction control kicks in. is it because i need to put the tire sensors in the aftermarket wheels

The tire pressure monitors have nothing to do with the traction control. When i switched to 20 inch wheels i removed the sensors and put regular valve stems in.

I just get a message on the DIC to check the sensors.
