Checked out the Tahoe today--finally. Pulled the plugs. Cylinder 2 was discolored(black)and ever so slightly wet--not much. All other plugs were great. There's probably 500 miles on them since they were changed.
Cylinders 2,4,6 and 8.

Looked great, as they should.
I tightened 3 loose exhaust manifold bolts on the driver's side. That's where I was having an issue with stf/ltf, bank 1. I guess that was the issue. Runs 100 times better, but I still heard a little popping from the exhaust. Nothing loud or anything, but I heard it.
I saw some antifreeze drip out of the right side heater core line. I guess I leaned on it when I was trying to pull that last plug. I pushed it in and gently wiggled it, and it seemed fine. I let it run for awhile, then took it for a ride. System didn't pressurize, so idk what to think about that. Needle didn't move a lot past 160 degrees. Heat worked. Guess I'll keep an eye on it. No more leaks tho.

We need either a "neutral" emoji or the ability to give multiple responses. So many of your posts are just so... ummm... "balanced". :p

...And you tell it so well, with such enthusiasm. I almost needed to take a Dramamine tablet.

Yeah I got some doozies. My ass was puckered up that day for sure. Sacrificed myself for the others. I was like "what the hell was I thinking." lol

Gonna need to get those 2 oem heater hose clamps that go into the heater core on the firewall. Gf was out all day and the temp gauge didn't go past 160.

What do those have to do with the engine temp?

The system isn't pressurizing, so it won't allow it to get up to temp. I had mentioned this past weekend while pulling the plugs, I guess I must've put some pressure on the one line because a few drops of coolant dropped on the coil directly under it. I pushed the connection in, hoping that would've fixed it. It didn't.

So it’s leaking? Because if it isn’t pressurizing then it would be blowing out there, releasing the pressure wouldn’t it? I know when I cracked one of those, coolant was blowing out of it as soon as I started the engine.

Idk, it leaked that little bit initially, but then nothing else. Nothing else has given me trouble. What else could it be? Pressurized fine before that happened.
Could the thermostat be stuck open? Was heat the working?
Yup, heat worked great, no issue there.

Check the temp sensor. If your heat is working fine, its circulating
