lets hope it comes on sooner then that.

at this point im considering myself very lucky to have power still. so many of our customers are with out. generators running all over the place.

on the bright side. at least you dont live in an all electric apt building. no elevators really sucks, 7 flights up is a killer these days.

Glad you got that shoulder done. Wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. My buddy had his done and was down for a while. He slid into a fence on his bike when we were in the Smokey mountains. Took all the weight into his arm and he already had a bad shoulder. On the bright side, he’s doing great with it now so I hope the same for you.

That GN is looking great. That was awesome of you to let your son take over on your pride and joy. That speaks volumes about your generosity and also how much you cherish your son. Good on you man! Love it.

While your down, if you need someone to come crack skulls to get your hoe back just shout out. If nobody local steps up it ain’t nuttin but a plane ride.

Take care of yourself buddy. Don’t rush the process and do your therapy!!

I love all of my kids to the moon and back. I've always wished I could do more for them. My son is really taking good care of it, but I knew he would. It isn't just a car, it's much more then that, and I'm so happy that he feels the same as I do. Pretty sure when I'm gone he'll still have it. From 1 dad to another I know you'd do the same as I did. No question!
This shoulder is hurting like a beyotch. I can't wait til it's all healed up--can't wait to start working out again. On the bright side--it's a pretty shade of purple.

Good news--kind of--Cam bearings have been replaced, so the short block is put together--BUT--The motor is from an 03, but the 03 cam bearings didn't fit. It tookn02 bearings. If that's true(that possible?)it must've came from an early 03--still using 02 parts.

When I looked up cam bearings for the 02 and 03 LQ4, under 02 it shows there could be 2 different diameters for the 02 but under 03 it talks about 1st design or 2nd design and it’s confusing. Looks to me like they changed something partway through the 03 model year.

Huh that is possible and in my experience, it seems the work trucks tend to get the leftovers from the year before. But I was unaware there was a difference in cam bearings between the years.
Yeah, I thought the same thing with early and late year new model changes.

Yeah, I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. Told him I wanted the cam bearings that didn't fit tho. I'm paying for it so I want it!!
