Tire size for drop???

I have a 07 Yukon and have 24" rims I plan on putting witha 2/3 drop. My question is what the biggest size tire can i runwithout rubbing. Thanks alot

you can do 305's.

I'm 3.25"/5" and had 305's, but went to 295's after a little too much rubbing that I couldn't get rid of. so with just a 2/3, 305's aren't a problem.


It also depends on your rims and their backspacing...

there my old U2 55 and the backspace is +30 (i think)

so the exact same rims I have. with a 2/3, you'll be fine with 305's or 295's

I get rubbing with a 2/3 drop and stock 22"s with 285s. Only rub at full lock, and in/out of some driveways (at the rear tire(s)). So... your mileage may vary...

These are my old rims i had on my truck before i bought new ones. I need some tires then will put them on my wifes Yukon till i get 26s.
As you can see the 24 tuck real nice...
