Thumb Wheel performs radio seek

Never ceases to amaze me the things I find that I didn’t know about.

If the gague cluster is displaying radio station currently playing, a roll up/down performs a seek up/down. Haven’t tried it’s action on other audio sources yet. Could this be the missing FFwd/Rewind on apple car play audio playback?

Quick check on drive back to office from lunch:
Thumb Wheel function when instrument cluster displaying music:
- AM/FM: rolling thumb wheel performs seek up/down
- Car Play: rolling thumb wheel serves no function
- SirriusXM: rolling thumb wheel moves to next channel up/down (not preset, next adjacent channel)

Did not try any other sources, (USB, Bluetooth) as I don't have anything connected.
