Excellent news!

Thank you for sharing your step-by-step experiences throughout the project. In particular, I'm glad that you discussed your problems/issues, as well as your successes. It is equally important that folks here are aware of pitfalls to look out for in the process, and see your successful workarounds to those issues.

Our collective knowledge base has increased.

Happy tunes!!!

Funny note about pitfalls i got everything hooked up turned it on and no sound. Turns out what i did is i ran the bass / gain whatever u call it knob to the 600/4 amp instead of the sub amp. I dont know why i guess i was just running so many things to that amp it just got in the mix. Anyway i had the knob turned all the way down so no sound. Figured it out pretty quick by but that was funny.

homesick

Just went for a half hour drive its really clean and tight. No voltage drop at all on the stock alternator

With as much time and work you put into that little project, I'm happy you're pleased with it. It looks good.

What're you doing with your spare now?

I did a thing. When i was dickering around with my passenger door sag i discovered that the foam stinger fast rings were retaining water. So i switched to silicone ones made by install bay
