agreed but at least honda / acura and others are offering rentals. I do live where it is super f-ing hot and humid. If I'm driving and have a passenger and something happens, I will feel horrible, regardless of what GM says

I got my letter a week or so ago as well. They should replace the pos dash while they are at it.

Living in the zone which they have deemed to be "safer", I would like to point out that we have seen temperatures in the high 90's for much of the summer. I , for one, would be happier if they would simply remove the potentially dangerous airbag and replace it at a later time, when the parts are available.
