Tail Lights... Barn Door vs. Normal..?

Hey guys, I have a 2000 nbs with the barn doors... I'm looking to order some new taillights but have heard that the models with the barn doors have different lights. Whats the difference???

The swing arm that hold up the door will hit the bottom of some LED light, that is why only some of them fit.

Yep, I have the barn door, but I "DID" have clear tail lights, and it took me awhile to find some that fit on the barn door trucks for a decent price, took them off, just wasn't my style. Most will fit, as long as they don't stick out to far, so I found out later, but would go with what manufacturer says if they will fit, since they know.

I'm sure he added some aux lights under the bumper. That would be my guess otherwise inspection won't go well.

23mm eagle eyes would be sufficient I'd go 2 a side plus it won't impede the clearance for the hinge

The lift gate is a great idea! I have barn doors lol. Those would nice in the interior as well to illuminate the center console etc. I'd like to put one to do that but I'm amber color and very low voltage

I thought it was a pretty neat idea also then I saw another forum member @05Single he has 3 and if you look at his Tahoe it looks like a led force field is around his truck it's awesome.

Just so you know what I'm trying to accomplish. I had two
Bmws and they both had small leds in the roof that emitted a small amount of light but the center console was slightly visible when driving at night. Something to that effect.

I have Bmw's and love the orange ambient lighting they emit at night while driving as well. I'm trying to do the same in blue LED's
