So i am switching out my headers since they were leaking and going with the same ones i original had but instead i will install the ceramic coated ones on the hoe.. Is there anything i should do as in wrapping them with that tape that keeps them cooler or sprey it down some more with that ceramic spray? Also i had the Bosal Cats and i am switching them out with the Maganaflow cats...

If they are ceramic coated by a place like Jet Hot, then dont wrap or paint them.

If someone sprayed some coating on them, its not the same thing.

Jet Hot coats the INSIDE and outside of the headers.....Jet Hot is about 3 miles from me at work. I had my vette stainless headers xpipe and cats done there and toured the operation first to check it out. Made a huge difference in cabin heat that used to come through the floor. I would never install any headers on anything without Jet Hot coating.

I think they say the surface temp is reduced up to 300 degrees or so.
They reduce underhood temps (intake air) , prevent burns to wires etc, and keeps the hot exhaust gasses hot......because hotter air flows better than colder air (more power).
