How far did you have to go down the dipstick tube to get suction?

The length of the dipstick plus a extra 2 inches. It will bottom out but there will be some still in the pan. When you lower it, it won't spill everywhere and you can sneak the suction hose into the pan and get the rest.
The rest of the mess came from fluid dripping off the internals

Took my truck on the highway today and took note of the trans temp. It's about 85 degrees today. The Pml pan holds about 2 quarts more over stock.
Cruising at 70 mph on 22 rim. I was hovering around 172 deg. Before I was 180+. Around town I hit 180 with all the stop and go.
I don't have a oem cooler but will be defiantly thinking about one in the future. The only concern is hopefully that the pan does not interfere with the routing of the American Racing headers I purchased.

Ack. Unwanted neighbors. I saw debris fall in to some of the ports. Hopefully this method works. It shouldn't be bad. It's not like a bolt or nut so it won't mess up the valves and get burnt right up

Super mounted. Pita doing it solo. Aligning the plates took a bit but got the
To go. I highly recommend getting the snap on digital torque wrench. Takes all guessing out of torquing. Visual display numbers, led that turn yellow when close to target and green/vibrate when you're there.
Another tool highly recommended is a mini inductor tool. Coil goes around nut or bolt your trying to remove. It super heats what ever the coil surrounds and gets it cherry red. Awesome for areas that you can't get a torch into.

It's tight but it still works. I had to slide the bellow up the tube a bit. I'm Going to try a few different setups. Trimming will be the last option

Awesome! The second my 5y/100K GMPP expires, I will adding this exact system (maybe by myself as well). I looked over some instructions online - how was grinding down the pulley bracket? What would you say is the hardest part? You have more skills than I do...

It's really not bad. I took my time and ended up reading everything over and over just to make sure. Grinding was a breeze with a carbide tip. Chew through the bracket with ease. Hardest part, lifting the super up and over the radiator support solo. The spacer plates on the motor slid free where I silicone them down when I tried putting the super in. Aligning the supercharger to the holes on the spacers to the holes on the block was a *****.
I forgot to mention. I installed it all with hand tools and cordless impacts

Yea depending on if you want a tune or not. I didn't need a tune cause I already had autocal and I purchased through black bear so they tuned the super for me.

I can't go to wild yet. I don't have a boost gauge or wideband installed. I'm flushing the cooling system and just running water with a flushing agent without a thermostat installed.
Yea yea videos lol
