subwoofer change need prior experiences

i want so advice so input and mabye some experiences people have had. i have a 2007 tahoe ltz with bose, no screen or navigation.

okay what is it?

Since it is Bose it is probably 1.759 OHM or something odd like that. I had to completely remove and rewire the entire audio system in my Miata because the Bose system was so screwy. It has a low amp output on the headunit to a trunk mounted amp that was like 2.7 ohms to the door speakers...so I had to replace everything or pay big bucks for custom speakers. So I just installed a JVC head unit and ran speaker wire to the doors and installed aftermarket speakers (which are an odd 8" size). Sounds awesome now.

I'm VERY impressed with the Tahoe's system because the Miata Bose system sounded like CHIT.
