I am wanting to build a box to replace the stock box for the subwoofer that I have but I want to keep it concealed like the stock one. I saw someone on here had a box in this same spot and as I removed all of the coverings I found this large "bubble." I also noticed that this "bubble" was not on the other side of the car. I was wondering if anyone knew if this can be removed easily or is this thing need to stay there?

the "bubble is the space for your fuel fill. I f you are good with fiberglass or know of a good local stereo shop they could still build a decent enclosure back there
