I have 2 l7 10"s hooked up to a kicker 800.2.

system has been working perfect for 4 months , yesterday on my ride home I went to turn my subs up with my sub controller and they just died out , pulled the car over and the amp is still getting power (lights on) and I turned off the car and looked around at the amp turned it on and the subs worked perfect until i went to turn them up again then they died out. Any ideas? i Have played them loud alot so why would it be over loading the amp?

Check your connections, RCAs and your ground.

Kickers are ****ing famous for going into protect mode if the ground is not good, you have to keep in mind that you have over 100 pure amps going thru the amp, and back into the system, so your ground can't be a little tiny things it's gotta be just as big as the power wire, and for grounding it, make sure it's on bare and shiny metal too lol
